YPN Focus Workshop: Public Speaking Tips for Young Professionals

Learning how to become a better public speaker can help young professionals in any career choice. Being able to stand in front of an audience of 10 to 10,000 and deliver a message that people will listen to takes time and practice. YPN members will learn some key strategies including: writing and outlining your speech; using stories, anecdotes and examples; tips to wow the audience; and improving delivery and presentation.

Spring Awakening

Spring Awakening was hailed by the New York Times as "the most important musical of the decade," Spring Awakening won eight Tony Awards in 2008 and four Olivier awards in London this year. Set in the 19th century, it's a big-stage production about teen desires and adult repression set to an original rock score.
